Renovation and expansion of an existing residential block according to national outline plan no. 38
Two full levels and a partial roof level were added to the existing structure. The renovation also included the addition of balconies, residential secure spaces, enclosing the ground floor to create an entry lobby and developing the grounds to allow parking, automated underground parking and developing the landscape, as well as the addition of elevators and new stairwells.
The site is narrow and perpendicular to the road, and the new design aims to create a one coherent envelope to the existing building and the new volumes attached to it, this by keeping the main volumes clean and ordered with the balconies as defined protruding elements.
